cubIQ knows its stuff – our new explanatory character in Dental Direkt Journal
Some topics seem complicated at first glance. But as soon as someone explains them using simple images, you understand them immediately—and even have fun doing so. That's exactly why Dental Direkt now has a new character: cubIQ. Our comic friend is round, friendly, and curious—and he playfully takes our customers on a journey into the world of dental materials and innovations.
With cubIQ, we create a friendly companion that makes this content tangible. It asks questions, explains processes, and makes abstract procedures visible—so that even complicated topics become understandable.
First assignments: Explaining sustainability
cubIQ made its first appearance at this year's IDS in Cologne as part of our project on sustainable splints made from recycled plastic. In a short explanatory video, it guides viewers through the manufacturing process and shows how Dental Direkt is taking responsibility for the environment and resources. This immediately made it a popular symbol of our commitment to sustainability.
Looking ahead
But that's just the beginning. cubIQ will appear regularly in videos, presentations, and here in the journal. Sometimes he explains production steps—such as how zirconia discs are made—and sometimes he accompanies innovations from our product portfolio. Always with a wink, always easy to understand, and always to the point.
