A digital intraoral scan allows for more precise, more three-dimensional results in a significantly shorter time compared to traditional impression taking. The digital workflow already starts in the patient's mouth with data taken directly from the patient, which control the entire production process and ultimately deliver an excellent result. 

But which intraoral scanner is the right one? 

The market offers a multitude of different solutions and it's hard to keep track in the jungle of intraoral scanner products. A group of international experts has now examined the current systems based on the most important criteria.
