He has already been able to impress with his dental technical skills in previous years: He passed his master dental technician exam in 2017 as the best in his graduating class; in the same year, he won 2nd place in the KunstZahnWerk competition (CANDULAR); in 2018, he was nominated by the Chamber of Crafts of Niederbayern-Oberpfalz for the Klaus Kanter Sponsorship Award.

Since 2015, Akira Schüttler has been responsible for technical system integration at exocad as 'Global Head of System Integration'. This includes the integration of hardware and software components of exocad's technology partners in the areas of dental materials, components for prosthetic restorations, implants, implantological instruments, dental models, 3D printers, scanners and milling machines. His team thus forms the interface between exocad technology partners, who supply hardware, production systems and components, and the other exocad departments. Among other things, Akira Schüttler is also involved in R&D development projects as a project manager and oversees the customization of the graphical user interface for our sales partners.
