DD Bio Splint C
innovative polycarbonate
DD Bio Splint C blanks are made of a high-tech polymer based on a medical grade polycarbonate. We have developed this material innovation, as the ideal material for CAM-manufactured bite splints. Using CAD/CAM technology, you will achieve a perfect fit with no re-machining. With our T710 laboratory scanner and the DD Bite Splint module from Dental Direkt Designer by exocad®, you can build splints with adjusted surfaces. Thanks to our manufacturing process, the material is absolutely free of distortion and strain for a perfect fit.
Your benefits:
- biocompatible – medical thermoplastic, no chemoplastic!
- process of sterilisation in an autoclave up to 121 °C
- industrially polymerized-absolutely low residual monomer content
- high fracture resistance and continuous flexural load (treatment of bruxism)
- plaque resistance-lowest water absorption – dense structure
- good polishing properties
- shatterproof with added elasticity, (high) resilience
